During the Second Semester of her senior year, in 2002, Laura organized and carried out practices for a group of students at her school who were members of the track team. Her purpose was to introduce pole vaulting and related activities. The culmination of 10 weekly sessions was a presentation to department chairs, the Senior Project Committee, parents and students. Her work extended to the Watson House Gymcraftics Project in Cambridge, Mass. Students from this program and other Air Time staff and athletes participated in the Project Presentation at the end of the semester at Hopkinton High. |
