Our Story

From Sketch to Reality

AIRTIME was founded in early 2024 by Maxime and Maurice, who combined complementary expertise to create something greater than the sum of its parts. One fateful night, they found themselves scribbling names and logo ideas in a McMaster University building. Little did they know, this was the beginning of AIRTIME Volleyball.

Late-night brainstorming sessions followed, fueled by a desire to give back to the community they grew up in. They picked the brains of coaches, players, and anyone who would listen, all in the name of creating something truly valuable for the athletes they once were.

Maxime brings the volleyball prowess and understanding that only comes from high-level experience through the sport. Maurice, on the other hand, brings the skills necessary to getting things done off the court. Together, they're a force to be reckoned with.

From meetings with bigwigs to countless hours perfecting their models and philosophy, Maxime and Maurice poured their hearts into AIRTIME. They even managed to rope in some seriously talented coaches and guest coaches along the way.

And now, AIRTIME Volleyball is here, ready to make a splash in the volleyball world. It's not just about drills and skills; it's about leaving a legacy and making a real difference in the lives of athletes.

The AIRTIME Pillars

At AIRTIME, our mission extends beyond the court. Through our life experiences, conversations with remarkable individuals, and deep reflection, we have identified three foundational pillars that we believe are essential for a successful and compassionate life: Awareness, Resilience, and Respect.

Awareness

The first pillar, encompassing both self-awareness and an understanding of others. We encourage our athletes to look inward, recognizing their strengths, weaknesses, and emotions. Simultaneously, we foster an outward awareness, teaching them to be attuned to the needs and perspectives of their teammates, opponents, and the world around them.

Resilience

The second pillar, is the ability to bounce back from setbacks and adversity. In volleyball and in life, challenges are inevitable. We equip our athletes with the tools to persevere, learn from their mistakes, and grow stronger in the face of obstacles. By cultivating a resilient mindset, they develop the confidence to pursue their goals relentlessly.

Respect

The third pillar, is the foundation of all meaningful relationships. We instill in our athletes a deep respect for themselves, their teammates, their opponents, and the sport itself. By treating others with kindness, empathy, and appreciation, they build a supportive network that extends far beyond the volleyball community.
